The Jump Club

 

 

The one thing that I've discovered when training professional basketball players is that their ability to jump is related to a number of different factors. Being able to jump really high is pretty cool but being able to jump in all different directions under different circumstances is even better. We get so caught up in the idea that we need to jump high and to be able to 'dunk' the basketball. There is more to it than height...

 

The Jump Club idea started way back in 2011 when I started working with an incredible human who was competing at the national level of the long jump. He was jumping nearly 7m of which was something that blew my mind.
